OPERATION
WARNINGS!
- Before filling with oil, make sure there is no water remaining in the oil reservoir (11). Wipe off oil spills on the outer surface
of the deep fryer.
- Never fill with oil or fat over the MAX or under the MIN marking in the oil reservoir (11).
- Make sure the temperature control knob (15) is set to
- Never switch on the deep fryer without oil or fat in the oil reservoir (11).

Fill oil into the dry and empty oil reservoir (11) only (

Prepare the food for frying.
•
Connect the power plug (6) to a suitable electrical outlet. The power indicator (17) lights up green.
•
Place the lid (1) onto the oil reservoir (11).

Switch on the deep fryer by turning the temperature control knob (15) to the

Set the temperature control knob (15) to the desired temperature.
•
When the oil temperature reaches the set value, the appliance switches off automatically. The working indicator (16) goes off.
•
Now the appliance is ready for frying food.
NOTES:
- As long as the oil temperature is lower than the set value, the appliance will automatically switch on and the working
indicator (16) lights up orange again.
- Once the oil temperature reaches the set value again, the appliance switches off automatically and the working indicator (16)
goes off.
- This keeps the oil temperature constantly at the set value.
•
Fill the frying basket (2) with food. Distribute the food evenly in the frying basket (2).
•
Do not overfill the frying basket (2).
•
To avoid oil splatter, immerse the frying basket (2) with food into the oil reservoir (11) slowly.
WARNING:
The deep fryer must not be operated with the lid on. Only use the lid as a protection against dust and to keep the frying oil
warm.
•
Carefully lift out the frying basket (2). Hang it onto the bar of the control unit (4) by using the
basket hook (3) (fig. a).
•
Allow a few moments for excess oil to drip off.
•
Carefully lift the frying basket (2) out of the oil reservoir (11).
•
Tip: Pour the fried food into a sieve or a bowl that has been covered with a paper towel to
collect remaining oil.
•
After the frying process is finished, set the temperature control knob (15) to
•
Disconnect the power plug (6) from the electrical outlet. The power indicator (17) goes off.
NOTE! When frying large food, you can put the food directly to the oil reservoir (11) without using the basket (2). Fry the food
by following the same steps as the frying process in the basket other than assembling and disassembling the basket.
SAFETY THERMAL CUT-OUT
•
The safety thermal cut-out is embedded in the appliance.
•
The thermal cut-out will switch off the appliance in the event of overheating.
•
This can happen if the oil reservoir (11) is not filled with sufficient amount of oil, or solid fat is not melting (or melting too slowly).
