3 Transport and installation
WARNING
Risk of falling parts!
The maximum permitted load of the lifting equipment must be greater than
the weight of the parts to be transported.
Ensure that the machine is balanced when unloading from lorries.
Risk of injury during transport
Unsuitable transport devices and careless transportation may lead to the machine
tipping over and persons becoming jammed.
Transport devices must be designed appropriate to the weight and dimensions of the
machine. Nobody should linger within direct proximity of the machine during transport.
Weight: approx. 534 kg
• The transport device (e.g. hand pallet truck)
must be correspondingly rated for the weight
of the machine.
• Place the pallet with the machine in its pack-
aging on a smooth, level surface.
• The shredder may only be placed in dry
rooms on a hard, level floor - not on carpets.
• Place the machine in such a way that the
power plug is easily accessible and the venti-
lation slots are free.
• Lock the front castors by pressing down
the brake lever.

• Connect the power cable to the machine and
lock it. The machine must be connected to
a power source which meets the specifica-
tions on the nameplate. Make sure the power
cable is unobstructed and that nobody can
tread on it.
Connect the power plug of the machine into
a properly installed socket.
