Maintenance and cleaning

Clean the housing with a dry cloth (no cleaning agents) at regular intervals. Do not use any abra-
sive or scouring agents, or solvents.
To prevent electric shocks, do not allow moisture to penetrate the housing.

Replacing the battery

Before removing the rear panel, switch off the tong meter and remove the test leads
so as to prevent electric shocks.
Procedure:
If the operating voltage of the battery is insufficient, the

LCD display; the battery must then be replaced.

Unscrew the safety screw at the rear with a screwdriver. Remove the used batteries and re-
|
place with two new batteries, type 1.5 V AAA.
Replace the cover and secure with the screw.
