Explanation of the buttons

1) DATA-HOLD and background lighting
2) SEL / NCV button

H / ☼ button
Press this button to freeze the value currently displayed.
Pressing and holding (approx. 3 sec.) the button activates and then deactivates the background
lighting. The background lighting switches off automatically after c. 1 minute.
SEL / NCV button
Pressing and holding the button (c. 3 sec.) activates the NCV function. If the NCV sensor (8)
is held against a live conductor (90-600 V AC) the NCV display will flash and a signal tone will
sound.
Pressing the button automatically sets the value in the display to 0.000 A (only possible with
DC measurement).
A short beep confirms that the button has been pressed.
