1. Remove vacuum cleaner and all accessories from
the carton. Check to make sure all pieces are
accounted for before discarding box.
1. Drill latches into drum you will be using. Latches
ensure vacuum is securely mounted.
2. Latches should be placed on drum approximately
120° apart. Avoid placing a latch on the weld seam.
(See Figure 2)

3. Drill two 5/32" diameter holes for each latch. Drill first
hole 1⁄" from top of drum. Drill second hole 7/16"
directly beneath first hole. (See Figure 3)

2. Depending on dry pickup or wet pickup operation,
install proper filter. (See Filters on page 4)
ASSEMBLY
4. Once holes are drilled, assemble latches to the
drum with the supplied hardware. (See Figure 4)

CAUTION! The inside of the drum will need to
be deburred from the drilling operation. These
burrs can be very sharp and injury may occur
during assembly.
5. Once the latches are assembled on the drum,
place the lid onto the drum and seal with the three
latches. Because of manufacturing tolerances of
the drum, lids and buckles, it may be necessary to
adjust the tension of the latches by bending the legs
slightly with a pair of pliers.

6. Ensure correct filter has been installed depending
on wet or dry pickup. (See Filters on page 4)

7. Lock latches over drum lid to secure.

8. Attach hose to inlet on drum lid and to desired
cleaning accessory.
9. Plug cord into wall outlet and turn switch on.
