SALT ALARM ON - PROBLEMS, POSSIBLE CAUSES AND SOLUTIONS
THERE IS SALT ON THE TUB BUT THE SALT ALARM LIGHTS WHEN THE SYSTEMS SHIFTS TO C4
Start manual regeneration and make sure that CL is shown on the display during phase C2. If this does not happen:
1. Check connection where the regenerating agent operates.
Air leaks may hamper suction and chlorine production.
2. Check brine quality/concentration. Remember that it takes around one hour to form a solution that is sufficiently
saturated to be detected by the system (CL) and start chlorine production.
3. Check electrical connections on the back of the programmer and the correct insertion of the plug into the electrode-
chlorinator.
4. Check the cleaning of electrode-chlorinator surface and remove any deposits with the tip of a screwdriver or something
slightly abrasive like fine sand-paper (the most common problem).
1) DISCONNECT ELECTRIC CONNECTION FROM CHLORINE
PRODUCING CELL.
2) UNSCREW THE CHLORINE PRODUCING CELL BY USING AN
APPROPRIATE TOOL (SPANNER OR PLIERS).
