4. PUTTING INTO OPERATION
4.1.
NEVER USE OIL OR GREASE especially with elements to be used with oxygen:
regulator, cylinder valve, etc.
OXYGEN WITH OIL AND GREASE: DANGER OF EXPLOSION
4.2. Before starting and during operation, read and observe carefully these instructions. In
case of need, contact NIPPON GASES. Careful attention to these instructions will help
to avoid risks and loss of production as well as enhance reliability and durability of
pressure control equipment.
4.3. These instructions must be kept permanently at hand in your workshop.
4.4. Check that outlet pressure of the regulator is according to the used gas.
4.5.
Check that the cylinder valve connection is clean and undamaged; check that inlet
washer (9) of regulator (on N, P & H versions) is in good condition and in correct position.
Otherwise, clean & change washer if needed.
4.6. Check that the outlet pressure of the regulator is suitable for the gas used.
