c) Total Measurement
1. Press the POWER button to activate the device.
2. Select the total mode with the A.TOT button.
3. Connect the input signal with BNC connector A on the front panel.
4. Put A.ATTN in the desired position. Press A.ATTN is the input signal > 300mV: it reduces the number of mistakes
since the triggering sensitivity of the input section is attenuated by a factor of 20.
5. Put the HOLD button in the depressed position and read the total from the display.
d) Check Mode
The self-check mode provides a means of verifying the overall operation of the device with the exception of the input
section, the accuracy of the time base and the time base dividers used in the period mode.
1. Press the POWER button to activate the device.
2. Select the check mode with the CHECK button.
3. Press CHECK. All segments of the display are lit in the following order: 0 → 9, "•", the LEDs of the functions
printed on the display.
4. Press the RESET button to stop the check.
