□ To tighten the shoulder straps, pull on the adjuster strap Ⓤ that hangs from the front
of the car seat.


Changing shoulder strap height slots

□ The shoulder straps MUST be below the top of the child's shoulders. Shoulder
straps positioned in slots above the child's shoulders will not hold your child securely
in a sudden stop or crash.
CHECK that any straps retaining the child are properly adjusted to the child's body
and straps are not twisted.
□ If you need to adjuster the shoulder strap position, loosen the shoulder straps by
pushing on the adjuster strap lock and pulling on both shoulder straps. Then open
the rear panel and unhook each shoulder strap loop from its metal union plate.
□ Pull the shoulder straps out of their slots.
□ The infant head support Ⓠ corresponds to the position of the shoulder strap height
and must also be adjusted when changing the shoulder harness slots. Adjust the
infant head support to its new position by separating the hook and loop fasteners at
the outer ends of the two slots of the infant head support. Match the fastener tabs to
the upholstery seam underneath the desired slot. Join the hook and loop fasteners
to secure
□ Re-thread each shoulder strap through the correct upholstery, infant head support,
and plastic shell slots.
CHECK that the shoulder straps are threaded into the slots at the same height and
that they are not crossed over or twisted.
□ Secure each shoulder strap loop entirely onto its corresponding union plate and
close and secure the rear panel.
CHECK that the shoulder straps are secure by pulling on the shoulder straps from
the front.
