Note: A small amount of rotational movement is normal, but the car seat should
not rotate out of the rear-facing position and the rotation indicators should not be
showing red.


Rotating and removing the car seat

□ Squeeze both release levers Ⓝ upward. As you squeeze the release levers, the car
seat can be rotated and lifted off of the SmartHub.


Removing the base

□ Adjust the support leg by twisting the support leg knob anti-clockwise. While holding
the support leg knob, retract the support leg until it CLICKS into a low-numbered
position on both sides.
□ Remove the car seat base from the vehicle seat by pulling back on BOTH ISOFIX
release sleeves Ⓗ in the direction of the arrows to release the ISOFIX connectors.
The ISOFIX indicator window will show red when they are released.
□ If it is difficult to release the ISOFIX connectors, twist the rebound knob anti-
clockwise and pull the rebound bar handle until it CLICKS into a low-numbered
position.
□ Remove the support leg by flipping the car seat base upside-down. Locate the
release pins and use a small object (such as a pen) to depress the pin while pulling
the support leg. Repeat on the opposite side to completely remove the support leg.
