TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
the ON/OFF LED
(status indicator) does
not light up.
The Hi-Fi system is
not controlled via IR.
The ADJ LED stays off when
the Hi-Fi system is active.
CAUSA
Power supply unit in
protection mode.
No 27 Vdc on the BUS terminal
of the power supply unit.
Errato cablaggio del
cavetto IR.
Segnale audio non presente.
Segnale audio molto basso.
Il led di livello è sempre rosso.
Il segnale riprodotto è distorto
anche a volumi bassi.

SOLUTION
Check and eliminate the cause
of the short-circuit.
Replace the power supply unit.
Make sure there is 24 – 27 Vdc
at the OUTPUT of the A/V Node
to which it is connected. If the-
re is no voltage, eliminate the
short-circuit on the BUS (at the
OUT side of the A/V Node).
Check and correct wiring. the
cable with the IR transmitter
must be placed at a distance of
1 cm from the IR receiver of the
Hi-Fi system to be managed.
Check if there is an audio
signal.
Check the adjustment of the
level potentiometer or increase
the level of the signal given by
the external source.
Adjust the level potentiometer
correctly.
Make sure the level LED does
not turn red when playing
tracks. Adjust the potentiome-
ter of the active Hi-Fi system so
that the LED is always green (it
can only turn red for a very short
time, during musical peaks).
