POWER
Plug the plug into a 230V ~ 50Hz power outlet. Do not connect the appliance to sockets with a voltage other than that indicated.
ON / OFF / VOLUME
1. To turn on the unit, turn the function selector switch (5) to the PHONO or TUNER position.
2. To turn off the unit, turn the function selector switch (5) to the OFF position.
3. Adjust the volume using the Volume control (10).
- After 20 minutes of inactivity in PHONO mode, the unit will enter Off-Mode mode.
- To reactivate the unit, set the function selector (5) to OFF and again to the desired function.
FM RADIO OPERATION
1. Set the selector switch (5) to the TUNER position for listening to the FM radio.
2. Tune the desired station with the tuning control (11).
3. Use the dial (6) to select FM mono or FM Stereo (if supported by the broadcaster).
NOTE: To get the best FM reception, extend the antenna (17). If reception is not good, try adjusting the antenna length and orientation differently.
The quality of FM reception depends heavily on the location of the unit.
- The proximity of TV sets, neon lamps, or other household appliances may cause noise in the reception of radio programs, in this case, remove
the radio from the disturbing device.
TURNTABLE
1. Set selector switch (5) to PHONO position.
2. Open the turntable door (1).
3. Select the correct disc speed (33/45 turns) using the turntable speed selector (13).
4. Place the disc on the plate. Use the supplied adapter (12) if the disc is 45 turns.
5. Release the arm from the lock hook (15); Raise the arm and place the pin on the disc, gently lower the head on the disc.
NOTES:
- Remove the turntable cap before use.
- Make sure that the arm is locked by the lock (15) before and after use.
- Some discs may stop before the end, as the disc area does not match the settings of this unit. In this case, set the AUTO STOP selector switch
(14) to OFF. In this way, the disc will play back to the end but will not stop automatically.
HEADPHONE
Insert the headphone jack into the socket (4), the speakers will be disabled.
LINE OUT
It is possible to connect the Line Out (16) output to an external amplification system via a stereo RCA cable (not supplied).
