Close the fasteners in the following order:
1. Proximal fastener on the lower leg
2. Distal fastener on the lower leg
3. Distal fastener on the thigh
4. Proximal fastener on the thigh
Whilst tightening the fastener, smoothen it in the tension direction with your free hand. This avoids twisting
the brace on the leg.

Use the enclosed key to set the required correction pressure when the brace is positioned and the
patient is sitting. For this purpose, adjustment screws are provided on the rear beneath the joint.
Avoid overcorrection!
Important: let the patient try walking. If required, the fitting correction pressure can be readjusted.

Setting the extension/flexion limit:
if required, it can be necessary to restrict the scope of the brace's movement.
1. For this, remove the condyle pad
2. Remove the screw for the limit stop to be set
3. Remove the limit stop from the joint and insert the required angular degree
4. Fix the stop used with the screw provided
The following restrictions are available:
– Extension: 0°, 5°, 10°, 15°, 20° and 25°
– Flexion: 0° (180°), 30° 45°, 60°, 75° and 90°

Material composition

Frame pad: 60% EVA foam, 40% polyester
Fastening straps: 100% polyamide
Fastening straps pad: 74% PU foam, 26% polyether

Cleaning information

Can be cleaned using mild detergents and lukewarm water. Close the Velcro fasteners in order to avoid
damaging items of clothing, for example. Air dry it and avoid heat.

Do not use fabric conditioner. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.
