2. Prior to Operation
Prior to operation, read "Instructions" to ensure that
the compressor pump is put in operation correctly. Be
sure to follow the instructions herein described,
especially, the following safety instructions. Each
time after reading this Manual, keep it in a
designated place so that the user has access to it at
any time.
Not for any application of air for human
consumption
Do not use with flammable gas.
3. Storage and Transfer
a. Do not store the compressor pump in a place
where the ambient temperature is below –10° C
(14° F). The magnet inside the compressor pump
will be weakened and as a result, the equipment will
not perform as intended.
b. Do not store the compressor pump in areas where
sunlight shines directly on it or in places with high
temperature. Rubber parts inside the compressor
pump will have natural deterioration.
Diaphragm Compressor Pump
Installation
Installation of the compressor pump
(including wiring and piping) should be done by a
qualified individual. Improper installation can
cause air leak, electrical shock or fire.
1. Instructions for Placement of the Compressor
Pump
Do not install in locations where it
could be submerged under water.
Do not set the compressor pump in a
humid or dusty place. The life of the diaphragms and
valves in the compressor pump may be shortened if
the compressor pump overheats due to a reduction in
the rate of air suctioned through the blocked filter
element in a dusty place.
2. Instructions for Electric Installation
A breaker
protection should be set in the wiring of power
supply. No provisions or breaker with ground fault
protection can potentially cause electric shock.
When installing the compressor pump
outdoors, be sure to use a waterproof enclosure for
the installation.
3. Instructions for Piping
a. The pipe to discharge the air should have an inner
diameter of 0.5 inch and an outer diameter of 0.7
inch.
b. The air piping line should be as short and
straight as possible. The total length of air
piping should be not longer than 16.40 feet.
