Positioning and set-up of microphone
The position of the microphone is essential for the system to work properly. We recommend installing
the microphone near the central ceiling light directing it towards the user.
Do not apply the microphone directly onto the windscreen or near the air vents as disturbances caused
by wind or the air fl ow of the fan could make it diffi cult to talk on the phone.
We recommend always performing a functional test and if this is not satisfactory, reposition the micro-
phone and try again.
Once you have established the position of the microphone, you can optimise the audio confi guration
according to the distance of the microphone from the user.
To perform the SET-UP, activate the car dashboard, make sure that the Meta Voice M1:V2 module is
connected to the phone and, once you have typed in the SET-UP code indicated in the table below,
press the Call key on the phone.

A SHORT TONE indicates that SET-UP has been done.
A LONG TONE notifi es that a problem has occurred.
A DOUBLE TONE confi rms a SET-UP selected previously (e.g. default SET-UP).
Testing
• Reconnect the car battery.
• Check that the radio turns on.

tions given in the user manual that you will fi nd in the kit.
