- Clamp the cartridge into a bench vise.
Clamping stand T14015S
- Pull the spring downward and slide the special tool onto the
hexagonal part.
Open end wrench T14032
- Hold nut and remove screw cap .
 
Ring wrench T14017
- Remove the special tools.
- Remove spring with preload spacers .

NOTE
The upper preload spacer usually becomes stuck in the screw cap.
- Press in compression holder .

- Remove lock ring .

- Remove compression adjuster .

- Clamp the cartridge with the special tool.
Clamping stand T14016S
- Remove fl uid barrier from the piston rod.

