Advice and recommendations for use:
Do not toast food that may drip during the toasting/cooking process. Not only will
this make cleaning difficult but it may cause a fire or electric shocks.
It is very important that the crumb tray is perfectly clean of any crumbs or drips
at the beginning of each cycle of use.
Slices of bread that are larger than the slots cannot be inserted.
Do not put metal kitchen foil or kitchen utensils into the slots because they may
cause serious injuries, electric shocks and accidents to people.
Do not use the toaster without the crumb tray, which must always be in position.
After using the toaster, always pull the plug out and empty the crumb tray
following the cleaning and maintenance instructions.
Toasting:
1. Put the slices of bread into the special slots.
2. Choose the level of toasting required. The toaster allows various levels of
toasting from 1 to 9. The higher numbers refer to higher toasting levels/times.
The level/number chosen can be changed while toasting, although it would
be better to stop the toaster and then start again - the toaster will extend/
shorten the toasting time according to the original starting level and the new
one chosen. The first position for starting to toast is half of the first level.
3. Push down the lever at the side of the toaster. Toasting will now start and the
LED lights will come on (the stop light will also come on). As time passes, the
lights will progressively go out indicating the remaining toasting time. The
speed with which the LEDs go out will vary according to the time set.
4. When toasting has finished, the lever and toast will rise while the lights go out.
5. If you want to stop toasting before the level selected, just press the stop button,
which remains lit up for the whole period of toasting. The lever and toast will
rise and toasting end.
The selector does not move as time passes - the LED lights have this function.
Example: by selecting 5, this number does not decrease and, at the end of
toasting it is still on 5. Unplug at the end of use!
Defrosting:
The defrost function extends cooking time to allow the slice of bread to be
defrosted before toasting.
1. Put the slices of frozen bread into the slots.
2. Select the level of toasting and push down the lever. Only now can the mode
be selected by pressing the defrost button. A blue light on the same button will
light up indicating that the function is operational.
3. Follow points 4 and 5 of the toasting function.

Cleaning and maintenance:
Always unplug when the device is not in use and before cleaning it. Do not remove
the plug by pulling on the cable.
Do not partially or competely immerse cables, plugs and toasters in water or
other liquids.
1. Do not remove the plug by pulling on the cable.
2. Leave the toaster to cool before adding or removing parts and before cleaning it.
3. Clean the external surfaces of the toaster only.
4. The toaster should be cleaned with a soft cloth that is dry or slightly damp,
adding a few drops of a neutral, non-aggressive detergent (never use solvents).
5. Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the control panel, where there are all the
control and operations buttons.
6. To clean the crumb tray:
• remove the tray from the toaster by pulling it from the special cavity;
• rinse all the surfaces by hand using a neutral detergent;
• ensure that it is perfectly dry before replacing it in the toaster, positioning it
correctly in the special guides.
7. If pieces of bread stay in the slot for any reason:
• turn off and disconnect the toaster from the power supply;
• turn the toaster upside down and then, shaking it delicately, wait for the
pieces to fall out without external assistance.
8. Do not put any type of utensil into the housing to remove residues of bread
or food. Not only may damage be caused to the internal elements and cause
serious damage but it may also cause electric shocks and serious injuries to
people and things next time it is used.
