Resonance-free housing
2 - 1 Resonance-free housing
As the acoustic resister is used in the front of the housing, you can eliminate the
spatial resonance by controlling the ventilation optimally. This housing removes
special resonance when the closed-type headphones are mounted, and improves
the S/N on the audibility. You can hear all minute sounds included in the
High-Resolution Audio. Also, the combination of different types of materials and the
shape without a plane surface, which seamlessly changes the curvature, enables
the suppression of the resonance.

Acoustic resister
The acoustic resister uses pulp derived from Canadian conifer and molded into
shape as material. Fibers are shaped using the same method as Japanese Washi
paper making, which uses the groundwater from melted snow whose temperature
is uniform throughout the year.
Less coloration and natural sound are achieved by using high internal-loss material.
Housing protector
To protect the acoustic resister, we use a housing protector that was molded into a
three-dimensional curved surface by knitting stemless wire delicately.
Chromium compound is coated in the surface with ion plating processing, which
improves the surface hardness seven times. This is excellent in wear resistance and
prevents small scratches.
