MAINTENANCE

TIRES
Check the wear of the tires, especially after long
trips. The bearings are sealed, so no maintenance is
needed. Refer to VIN plate for tire inflation pressure.
LIGHTING CONNECTORS (FLAT 4)
Connections develop corrosion over time. We recommend keeping a thin layer of dielectric
grease on the connectors. (Disconnect power before doing this)
IF THERE IS CORROSION PRESENT
1.
Disconnect the electric connection from the vehicle to avoid shorting
2.
Carefully remove any corrosion with a scraping instrument
3.
Check that the wire plugs behind the lights are securely in place
4.
Reconnect the power and check that all lights are working properly
IF THE CONNECTORS COME LOOSE
1.
Clean the plug and light area, then press the plug firmly into place
2.
If necessary, apply hot-melt glue or similar adhesive along the edges

WATER SUBMERSION
After you have loaded boats in salt or fresh water,
be sure to hose down the trailer to remove any excess
salt, dirt and grime.

CHANGING A FLAT TIRE

CHANGING A FLAT TIRE:
1.
Find safe place to pull over
2. Keep trailer attached to vehicle
3. Chock wheel opposite of flat
4. Use rear lower crossbar as location for jack
5. Use 21mm deep socket wrench to remove lugs
6. Install spare tire and fully tighten lug nuts
7.
Prepare trailer for travel
Place jack in
one of these
locations.
