Make sure the appliance is turned off and
•
unplugged before cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance or the charging stand
•
in water or any other liquid.
Do not use solvents, abrasive detergents, or
•
scouring sponges for cleaning.
Never use the appliance without the fi lters.
•
Cleaning the body of the appliance
The surfaces of the appliance can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Empty and clean the dust container
Empty and clean the container when the residues have reached the level " MAX " in the
dust container.
EMPTY THE CONTAINER
1. Place the vacuum cleaner vertically.
2. Press the container unlock button (6) and pull the container down to dislodge it from
the notch.
3. Turn the container upside down and lift the clip to detach the fi lter unit from the container.
4. Empty the contents of the dust container into the trash and clean the fi lter with a vacuum
cleaner.
5. If necessary, wash the container with a soft sponge and warm water, then let it dry
completely before putting it back on the vacuum cleaner (to prevent water from being
drawn into the electrical components).
6. Put the fi lter unit back on the container.
7. Place the bottom of the container in the notch and press the top of the container until
you hear a "click".

Cleaning the fi lters
The appliance has three fi lters:
1. Hygienic fi lter in the dust container. For cleaning, remove the dust container by
pressing the unlock button (6). Pull out the fi lter unit and clean the coverslips by tapping
the sanitary fi lter against a rubbish bin and / vacuum the excess dust with a vacuum
cleaner. Warning: do not rub as there is a risk of damage.
2. A foam air inlet fi lter located between the motor unit and the tank. Clean it by
blowing on it or with water if necessary.
3. A foam fi lter on the motor unit. For cleaning, turn the cover of the motor unit clockwise.
Remove the lid and detach the foam fi lter. Clean it by blowing on it or with water if
necessary.
4. Let it dry completely ( 24 hours minimum for the hygienic fi lter ) before putting them
back on the appliance.
Do not use hot water or detergent to wash the fi lters.
If the hygienic fi lter is damaged or you wish to replace it, you can obtain it from your dealer
(code 8007892).
Do not use your appliance if the fi lters are damaged
as this may cause the appliance to malfunction.
Check for obstructions
1. Press the unlock button on the metal tube and remove it from the vacuum cleaner.
Check and remove dirt and debris from the inlet of the dust container.
2. Check that the hinge at the brush is free of obstruction. If not, use a blunt object to clear
the obstruction.
