Make sure that the appliance is powered off and

unplugged before you start cleaning it.
Never immerse the appliance or charging base in
•
water or any other liquid.
Never use solvents, abrasive detergents or
•
scouring pads to clean the appliance.
Never use the appliance without the filters.

Cleaning the body of the appliance
The surfaces of the appliance can be cleaned with a lightly moistened soft cloth.
Emptying and cleaning the dust container
Empty and clean the container when the contents reach the MAX level on the dust container.
EMPTYING THE CONTAINER
1. Press the tube release button (3) to separate the tube from the motor unit.
2. Press the dust container cover release button (12).
3. Shake the dust container over a bin to empty its contents, then close the cover (11).
4. If the dust container is especially dirty, unscrew it and the large particle filter (13).
5. Empty the dust container contents into a bin and clean the large particle filter.
6. Put the coarse particle filter back in place.
7. If necessary, wash the container with a soft sponge and warm water; let it dry completely
before putting it back on the vacuum cleaner (to prevent water from being sucked into
the electrical components).

Cleaning the filters
The appliance has two filters:
1. A hygienic filter at the front of the motor unit (4). To clean, pull on the filter unit (4).
Tap the hygienic filter against a bin and vacuum the excess dust with a vacuum cleaner.
Clean it with clean water if it is very dirty. Caution: do not rub the filter, this could damage
it.
2. A large particle filter located inside the dust container (13). Turn anti-clockwise to
remove it from the container. Clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and vacuum if
necessary. Put the filter back by turning it clockwise.
3. Allow it to dry completely before putting it back on the appliance.
Do not wash the filters using hot water or detergent.
If the hygienic filter is damaged or you want to replace it, you can get a new one from your
retail store (code 8007894).
Do not use your appliance if the filters are damaged
as this may cause the unit to malfunction.
Checking for obstructions
1. Press the metal tube release button and remove it from the vacuum cleaner. Check for
and remove any dirt and debris at the dust container entrance.
2. Check for obstructions at the brush joint. If any are found, use a sharp object to remove
them.
