DDIN radio provision 1996-1998
Note: Select the radio housing for
the correct model year vehicle.
1. Attach the brackets to the radio
housing using four of the #8 x 3/8"
screws supplied and attach the
brackets to the climate controls
with factory hardware. (Figure A)
2. Slide the radio into the bracket/
radio housing assembly and secure
to the assembly using the screws
supplied with the radio. (Figure B )
3. Locate the factory wiring harness
in the dash. Metra recommends
using the proper mating adapter
from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect
the negative battery terminal and
test the unit for proper operation.
Remove the three buttons from the
factory radio panel and snap them
into the Metra radio housing.
4. Reassemble dash in reverse order
of disassembly.
