THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE NSR-2168 RECHARGEABLE WORK LIGHT.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Please read these instructions before using your work light. Be sure to charge the
work light before the first use.
y CAUTION: Do not use this work light in explosive atmospheres, near flammable
liquids, or where explosion-proof lamps are required. Do not immerse in water.
y CAUTION: For light duty work only.
WARNINGS
y Lithium-ion batteries must be used and charged properly. Improper use can result in
serious injury, fire, or death.
y NOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS. Do not use this product in explosive
atmospheres, near flammable liquids, or where explosion proof or intrinsically safe
lighting is required.
y DO NOT use this product in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a
risk of flammable liquids coming into contact with the flashlight.
y Light can become hot while on. To prevent damage DO NOT cover or place next to
any potentially flammable materials while in use.
y Do not leave the battery in direct sunlight or use or store the battery inside cars in
hot weather.
y Do not expose the battery to water or salt water, or allow the battery to get wet.
y Do not store the battery with metallic objects that may cause a short circuit.
y Immediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery emits an unusual smell,
feels hot, changes color, changes shape or appears abnormal in any way.
y Keep out of the reach of children.
INITIAL USE
Fully charge the 2168 before the first use, or if the battery is new or has been
unused for several months. The maximum charge time required is approximately 6 hours
(typical).
DAILY USE
y Use only the supplied Nightstick AC or DC adapter. For best performance, charge
the 2168 when the floodlight beam starts to dim.
y Connect the AC or DC power adapter to the body of the work light.
y The LED indicator changes to constant red indicating the 2168 is properly plugged
into the charger and is in fact charging. The LED indicator remains red until the battery
is fully charged. At full charge, the LED indicator turns green.
y The total time to full charge the 2168 varies depending on the remaining charge in
the battery pack.

y To confirm a full charge, keep the 2168 plugged into the charger. The LED indicator
will change to red. If the 2168 is fully charged, the LED indicator will turn green. If not,
it remains red until the charge is completed and the LED indicator turns green. The
2168 will now be fully charged.
OPERATION
TURNING THE WORK LIGHT ON/OFF
y Floodlight Low
y Floodlight High
y Off
FLOODLIGHT LOW MODE
Press the body switch once until it clicks and then release for floodlight low mode.
FLOODLIGHT HIGH MODE
Press the body switch again until it clicks and then release for floodlight high mode.
TURNING THE FLOODLIGHT OFF
Press the body switch again until it clicks and the floodlight will turn off.
INTEGRATED MAGNETS AND MAGNETIC HOOK
The work light has three integrated magnets, one in the body of the light, one at
the tip of the light and one in the bottom of the body. These magnets will support the
weight of the light when magnetically attached to a ferrous metal surface. The removable
Magnetic Hook can also be attached to either of the integrated magnets and offers
additional hands-free options.
CLEANING
y Disconnect the light from the power source
y Wipe with a clean dry soft cloth
y Do not use any solvent or abrasive cleaners
WARRANTY
1 YEAR WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials to the original purchaser for 1 year from the date of purchase, and includes
the LEDs, housing, lenses, electronics, switches, rechargeable batteries and chargers.
Bulbs (other than LEDs) are covered for 90 days from the date of purchase.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the
only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for
a particular purpose.

mouillée.
y Ne pas entreposer la batterie avec des objets métalliques ce qui pourrait causer un
court-circuit.
y Cesser immédiatement d'utiliser la batterie si celle-ci émet une odeur inhabituelle,
semble chaude, change de couleur, de forme ou parait anormal de quelque façon
que ce soit.
y Garder hors de la portée des enfants.
