d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of
the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. always Keep proper footing and balance. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry, keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

properly used. Use of these devices can reduce dust related hazards.
4) POWER TOOL USE ANO CARE
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better
and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that
may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
f ) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are
easier to contract.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tools bits in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the
particular type of power tool, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool
for operations different from intended could result in a hazardous situation.
5) BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may
create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury
and fire.
c) When a battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fire.
d) Under abusive conditions, the liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with
water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
6) SERVICE
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
UNPACKING
Caution! This packaging contains sharp objects. Take care when unpacking. Remove the machine, together with the accessories
supplied, from the packaging.
Check carefully to ensure that the machine is in good condition and account for all the accessories listed in this manual.
Also, make sure that all the accessories are complete. If any parts are found to be missing, the machine and its accessories should
be returned together in their original packaging to the retailer.
Do not throw the packaging away, keep it safe throughout the guarantee period, then recycle if possible, otherwise dispose of it
by the proper means. Do not let children play with empty plastic bags due to the risk of suffocation.
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Warning! Only charge with compatible 18V chargers. Use of other chargers may result in fire, damage or serious personal injury.
The battery pack for this tool has been shipped in a low charge condition to prevent possible problems. Therefore, you should
charge it until the green LED on the front right-hand side of the charger comes on.
Note: Batteries will not reach full charge the first time they are charged. Allow several cycles (operation followed by recharging)
for them to become fully charged.
First, read the safety instructions then follow the charging instructions.
Plug the charger into a standard 230V- 50Hz mains socket outlet, the green LED on the front left-hand side of the charger will
illuminate.
Do not allow the cable to become knotted or kinked.
Place the battery pack into the charger base. (Note that the battery has raised ribs which allows it to fit into the charger only one
way). Time the charge for 60/130 minutes only.
2,0 Ah -battery - charge for 60 minutes
4,0 Ah -battery - charge for 130 minutes
The red LED on the front right-hand side of the charger will illuminate to indicate charging is in progress. A green LED will
illuminate when the battery is fully charged.
Unplug the charger when not in use and store it in a suitable storage cabinet.
Avoid charging your battery in freezing conditions as charging power will not be enough.
When charging more than one battery pack in succession allow at least 30 minutes for the charger to cool down before charging
an additional battery.
Always remove the battery pack and store it safely when the tool is not in use.
Caution! If at any point during the charging process none of the LEDs is lit, remove the battery pack from the charger to avoid
damaging the product. DO NOT insert another battery.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK
WARMING!
Always remove the battery pack from your tool when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning,
carrying, transporting or when not in use. Removing the battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
personal injury.
NOTE: To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack and keep hands clear of the lock-out button when
carrying or transporting the power tool.

FITTING THE SANDING PAD
The sanding pad is fitted in the same way as the other accessories. The sanding sheets are of the "Hook and Loop" type for quick
and easy replacement of the sanding sheets.
Before attaching the sanding sheet ensure that the loop backing on the sanding pad and the hook backing on the sanding sheet
are free from any debris.
Position the sanding sheet flush alongside one edge of the sanding pad then place the sanding sheet onto the sanding pad and
press firmly. To remove the sanding sheet grip one of the corners and peel it away from the sanding pad. Any sanding sheets,
fleece pads/polishing cloth pads of the 93mm Delta formal with a hook backing can be attached to the sanding pad in the same
way as the sanding sheets.

CHARGE STATUS
To display the amount of charge left in the battery, press the
charge level indicator button, Fig4.
CHANGING ACCESSORIES
Note: Before carrying out any assembly or disassembly of the
accessories please ensure that the battery is disconnected from
the machine.
Lift the quick release lever and push it firmly forward over the
detent, Fig.5. This will release the accessory bolt.
Place the tool upside down on a flat surface.
Choose the accessory you wish to use making sure it is clean of
any dirt and debris.
Slide the accessory between the accessory bolt and retaining
ring at the angle you require until it is seated on the raised nubs,
Fig.6.
Press the quick release lever back into place to secure the
accessory.
