Mounting the wheeled base

Mounting the drawbar
1. Put the drawbar 1 into the drawbar
receptacle 2 so that the 2 spherical
joints 3 lock into the 2 holes 4 of the
drawbar receptacle with an audible
CLICK! (see figure A).
Mounting the stand tube
1. Place the decorative plate 7 (availa-
ble separately), the rubber disc 6 and
the stand tube 5 on the base 8 so that
the drill holes in the decorative plate,
in the rubber disc and in the stand
tube are aligned with the threads in
the base (see figure B).
2. Put the shim 11 and the snap ring 9
over the screw 10 and screw the
parts together using a hex key (see
figure C).

Mounting the shade pole
Using the inserts
Please note!
– Always use inserts 12 that correspond
to the diameter of your shade pole
(see figure D).
1. If applicable, insert the required in-
serts 12 in the stand tube 5 (see fig-
ure E).
Please note!
– The clamping plate located inside the
tube behind the T-screw 13 must be
pushed into the notch 14 of the in-
serts 12 (see figure E).
2. Insert the shade pole 15 (see fig-
ure F).
3. Tighten the T-screws 13 by turning
them clockwise.
Please note!
– First tighten the top and then the bot-
tom T-screw 13 (see figure G).
Adjusting the length of the
drawbar
Elongating the drawbar
– To elongate the drawbar 1, pull the
two parts of the drawbar 1 apart until
the spherical joint 16 pops out with an
audible CLICK! (see figure H).
Shortening the drawbar
– To shorten the drawbar 1, push the
spherical joint 16 in. At the same time,
push the two parts of the drawbar 1 in-
to one another (see figure I).
