Rectification of operating faults
7.1
General
NOTE
Flashing of the red LED light on the controller card is not a fault indication or error message.
The red LED light indicates that the cooling unit is carrying voltage.
Fault
Unit does not cool, evaporator fan
(internal) running
Unit does not cool sufficiently
Unit only cools sometimes.
Condensate formation in the switch
cabinet
Condensate does not drain
Condensate drips from the unit.

Possible causes
Temperature setting too high.
Application limits exceeded.
Low refrigerant level.
Heat exchanger contaminated.
Evaporator fan (internal) defective.
Condenser fan (external) defective.
Air circulation in switch cabinet
disrupted.
DIP-switch set incorrectly or defective.
Blow-out temperature too low.
Switch cabinet is not sufficiently sealed.
Condensate drain is blocked.
Condensate evaporator defective or
there is too much condensate.
Switch cabinet is not sufficiently sealed.
Remedial measures
Check temperature setting.
Check ambient air temperature and
internal load.
Call authorized specialist personnel,
check the unit for leaks.
Cleaning the heat exchanger.
Call authorized specialist personnel;
change fan.
Check installations and circulation
channels in the switch cabinet.
Check the air inflow and outflow from the
cooling unit into the inlet and outlet
openings of the switch cabinet.
Check DIP-switch and cable
connections.
Set higher temperature on the DIP-
switch.
Close switch cabinet door.
Rectify any leaky areas or seals on the
switch cabinet.
Check temperature setting.
Clean the condensate drain.
Check whether the condensate drain
hose is free of kinks and installed on a
gradient.
Change fuses for condensate
evaporator.
Rectify any leaky areas or seals on the
switch cabinet.
