Designed to operate on 90 PSI,
G
lower pressure (below 90 PSI) will
reduce performance of the tool
L
while higher air pressure (over 90
I
PSI) raises the performance of the
S
tool beyond its rated capacity and
H
could cause serious damage to tool
and injury to user.
Always use clean dry air. Excessive
moisture and dirt will greatly
reduce the life of any air motor.
The installation of an in-line
filter-regulator-lubricator will
improve performance and product
life.
A 3/8" air hose is required up to 8 ft
length . If more length is required a
1/2" air hose should be connected
to the 3/8" hose to ensure the tool
has the necessary air supply. Ensure
all hoses and fittings are the correct
size and fastened securely.

Maintenance
In order to achieve maximum
efficiency and economy the 3CRH6
pneumatic / hydraulic riveting tool
should be serviced and maintained
on a regular basis. No special skills or
tools other than the ones provided
are needed to properly service and
maintain the device.
The operative parts of the tools
requiring regular inspection and
maintenance are as follows:
1. The JAWS (No. 36) should be
periodically inspected, cleaned ,
and when necessary , replaced
with new jaws (see Cleaning and
Changing Jaws under Maintenance
Procedures).
2. The Oil Cylinder Body (No. 43) of
the tool should be checked
periodically to ensure that the oil
level (hydraulic oil SAE10 ) is
maintained and that there are no
leaks or breakdowns in the seals.
(See Repair sections under
"TROUBLE SHOOTING").
