Basic safety notes
Intended use
The Geberit Mepla pressing jaws are intended
exclusively for pressing Geberit Mepla system
pipes and pressfittings.
Geberit recommends using Geberit Mepla
pressing jaws in the following pressing tools
only:
• Geberit pressing tools that carry the same
compatibility mark
Mepla pressing jaw.
• Pressing tools from other manufacturers that
have been approved by Geberit for
processing Geberit Mepla system pipes and
pressfittings. → See also the Technical
Information "Compatible pressing tools for
Geberit Mepla, Geberit Mapress and Geberit
Volex pressing systems".
Other pressing tools have not been tested by
Geberit in terms of their suitability for the
Geberit Mepla pressing jaws. Using pressing
tools with excessive press capacity can
significantly reduce the service life of the
pressing jaws.
