Skiing is inherently dangerous. Understand and
accept the risks involved before participating. You are
responsible for your own actions and decisions. Before
using this product: read and understand all instructions
and warnings that accompany it; familiarize yourself with
its proper use, capabilities and limitations; get proper
training in its use. Failure to read or follow any of these
warnings can result in severe injury, paralysis or death!
qUIckdraw ProBE
first and foremost, we recommend that you take the proper avalanche
safety courses before heading off into avalanche terrain. It is also
recommended that you practice using your probe prior to skiing in the
backcountry. the details of the probe bag and the design of the probe
itself can speed your critical reactions in a search situation. You want to
be as familiar and adept as possible with your probe, as well as with your
beacon, shovel and various kinds of search methods.
To use:
1. remove the probe from the bag by
grabbing the exposed loop and quickly
pulling the probe free of the bag.
2. the first section of the probe is
a different color than the rest of
the sections of the probe for easy
identification. It also has an added grip
section. Hold the first section of the
probe and pull the loop handle tight to
fully assemble the probe.
