Introduction
The Nestable Pan Balance helps children explore the concepts of
weight, comparison, and equivalency. This hands-on balance is
made of durable plastic and features a sleek, nesting design for
optimal storage. Removable, clear, 500mL pans make it easy for
small hands to weigh and measure. Use with standard weights,
nonstandard weights, or liquids!
How to Assemble Your Balance
Remove the pans and separate the fulcrum bases. Remove the
balance arms from the storage base. Snap each fulcrum onto the
fulcrum base. Snap a balance arm on the top of the fulcrum; make
sure it is properly centered and will move freely. Lift the pan handle
up and it will click so the pan won't tip when in use. Finally, secure the
pans in the notches on the balance arms.
How to Nest Multiple Balances
If you have more than
one balance, you can
nest them together for
easy storage.
To nest the balances,
start by stacking the
balance arms together.
Then, stack the fulcrums
and bases. Finally, clean
and dry the pans and
stack them, putting all
the handles to one side.
All components store
conveniently in the
storage base (comes
with item 93405 only).
