1. Press and hold the START button for 10 seconds until the green
backlight appears, then release.
2. After the screen turns gray and flashes information, the ready for
reading symbol will be displayed.
3. At that time place the thermometer into the blackbody and press the
start button to take the measurement.
Clinical accuracy characteristics and procedures are available from the
manufacturer on request.
It is recommended that this digital thermometer be checked for accuracy
every 2 years.
