• Only open the thermometer battery cover to replace the battery.
• Do not open/modify this device; inaccuracy and/or harmful injury may
result.
• Performance of this thermometer may be degraded if used outside of
its specified operation temperature and humidity rating, or if stored
outside of its specified storage temperature and humidity rating. Avoid
storage in direct sunlight.
• Performance of this thermometer may be degraded if the device is
exposed to mechanical shock.
• Performance of this thermometer may be degraded if the patient's
temperature is outside the specified accuracy range.
• Performance of this thermometer may be degraded if the tip is dirty or
damaged; ensure the tip is clean before using.
• This device contains sensitive electronics components. Avoid strong
electrical or electromagnetic fields in the direct vicinity of the device
(e.g., mobile telephones, microwave ovens). These can lead to tempo-
rary impairment of the measuring accuracy. Move the device to an-
other location if interference is determined.
• Never immerse this instrument in water or other liquids. For cleaning
please follow the instructions in the «Cleaning» section.
