Control of your iPod
We recommend replacing the remote that came with your Bose
new remote (shown below). Then use the new remote exclusively (not the buttons
on your Acoustic Wave
intended.
The effects of some remote commands depend on which source (FM/AM/CD/
iPod) is playing. If the remote does not work as you expect, press the button for
that source to reset the intended mode of operation.
Most remote buttons are described in your Bose system owner's guide. The
remote buttons with added features are identified below.
On-Off
Turns off iPod
(with the remote aimed
properly for 2 seconds).
FM or AM
• Selects the
FM or AM source.
• Turns off iPod
(with the remote aimed
properly for 2 seconds).
Seek/Track
• Single press
skips one track.
• Press and hold
scans quickly
through a track.
Tune/MP3
Does not affect iPod.
