The QuickTwist ® Filter used with this Filter System has a limited service life. Changes in taste, odor, and/or flow of the water being
filtered indicate that the filter should be replaced.
Before You Begin
Check near your refrigerator to locate a solid wall surface to mount the Filter System.

NOTE: The Filter System must be mounted in a vertical position. For cold water line only.
Locate the water line to your refrigerator and observe if it is a flexible hose or a rigid pipe (ex: plastic, metal, copper). Rigid pipes

may require cutting. Also determine if you have all appropriate fasteners and adapters to fit your plumbing.
Consult your local plumbing codes and install accordingly.

STEP 1
Shut Off Water

If your refrigerator is gas powered, double check to determine which
lines are gas lines and which are water lines before performing this step.

Shut off the water supply to the refrigerator and shut off the icemaker if applicable.

Have a container handy to catch any water that leaks during installation.

Turn off the icemaker in the refrigerator before you begin.

Turn off water supply to the refrigerator and dispense the water from the refrigerator door until water flow stops. This releases
pressure from the pipes before installation.
