Safety Instructions
Safety operation of this tool is only
possible if you read these operating
instructions thoroughly and observe
carefully instructions contained
therein.
G Observe safety instructions that are a part of
supply of each machine.
G The machine is not allowed be used at damp
and wet areas, outdoors in rainy, foggy and
snowfall conditions, and in explosive environ-
ment.
G Inspect the flexible lead and the plug prior to
each use of the tool. Do an authorised service
shop repair the defects.
G When used outdoors, only use approved ex-
tension cables and cable joints.
G When operating the tool, use protective gloves
and tough footwear.
G When operating the tool, use goggles and ear
protectors.
G The dust generated during work is harmful to
health. When operating the tool, use the dust
extraction system and the respirator.
G Materials containing asbestos are not allowed
to mill.
G Flexible power supply cable always route from
the tool backwards.
G Do not use the cable as a handle for carrying
the tool.
G Only use milling rings recommended by the
manufacturer.
G The machine is only allowed be used when
protective guard is in place and additional
handle is fastened.
G Plug in the flexible power supply cable's plug
into the wall socket when the milling machine
is off.
G Make yourself sure whether the material that is
going to be machined does not contain electric,
water or gas lines – an injury could occur.
G Do not mill over metal objects, nails or screws.
G The milling machine is not allowed to be
operated by a person under 16 years of age.

Prescribed usage
The machine is intended for removal of paint
coats, plasters, residues of wall tile and carpet
adhesives mainly from rigid surfaces. In addition,
the machine can be used for roughing of flat
concrete surfaces and for milling of lining work
transitions.
The user proper is responsible for improper usage.
Electric part and putting into
service
Check out whether the data shown on identifica-
tion label conform to real voltage of power supply
distribution system.
The tool intended for 230 V is allowed to connect
also to 220 V/240 V.
Switching on and off
To switch on the tool, move the switch (1.2) for-
wards. To switch the tool off, press slightly the
rear end of the switch.
Electronics
The machine is equipped with a full-wave
electronics having the following functions:
Gradual start-up
Electronically controlled gradual start-up system
provides for machine start-up that is free of jerking.
Setting of revolutions
Motor revolutions are infinitely adjustable with the
help of speed regulator (1.3) within the range of
1800 rpm to 5000 rpm. The figures shown on the
regulator approximately correspond to the
following values of idle run:

Constant revolutions
Thanks to electronics, pre-selected motor revolu-
tions remain constant. This ensures steady ope-
rating speed even when the tool is loaded.
Thermal protector
Excessive load in permanent operation causes
overheating of the motor. To prevent overheating
(burning) of the motor an inbuilt electronic thermal
protector is used. The safety electronics
significantly reduces revolutions before a critical
temperature of the motor is achieved. Reduced
revolutions are maintained so as the motor can
be cooled down rapidly. Of course, such reduced
revolutions are not allowed be used for operation.
