5.0 MONTAGGIO
5.1 MONTAGGIO GENERALE E CONNESSIONI
Il dispositivo anticaduta retrattile Miller mightevac
deve essere montato sull'ancoraggiosopra la testa
usando un perno girevole di connessione e un mo-
schettone chiudibile o eventualmente un altro con-
nettore di ancoraggio approvato Honeywell Miller,
oppure deve essere usato insieme a una staffa di
montaggio Honeywell Miller montata su treppiede.
L'ancoraggio deve sopportare un carico pari a 22,2
kN (5.000 lb). Prima di scegliere il luogo di montag-
gio è necessario rileggere tutti gli avvertimenti e is-
truzioni.

care il connettore sull'estremità

5.2 MONTAGGIO DEL DISPOSITIVO MIGHTEVAC SULLA STAFFA DI MONTAGGIO (RIF.

Passo 1: Rimuovere gli adesivi rotondi rossi da tutte e due le parti del dispositivo MightEvac.
Passo 2: Inserire il perno di connessione del dispositivo nella staffa come indicato sull'immagine.
Passo 3: Spingere il dispositivo in avanti finché i due fori filettati nella custodia (dove prima erano
gli ad esivi rossi) non si allineino con i fori nella parte anteriore della staffa, così come indicato.
NOTA: Il manico di manipolazione del dispositivo deve essere orientato in su, in direzione dal dis-
positivo.Inserire la vite di fissaggio attraverso la rondella di bloccaggio, il distanziale e il foro nella
staffa. Serrare a 8 piedi-libbre di coppia più o meno un (1) piede-libbra (96 più o meno 12 polli-
ci-libbre). Ripetere il procedimento dalla parte opposta.
Passo 4: Inserire il perno di connessione nei fori nella staffa. In questo modo viene garantito un-
fissaggio sicuro del dispositivo nella staffa. Controllare che i perni sono inseriti correttamente in
entrambi i fori e che non si muovono.
Passo 5: Installare il dispositivo con la staffa su un ancoraggio approvato Honeywell Miller e inser-
ire i relativi perni di connessione. Vedi il procedimento di montaggio nei capitoli 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 e
5.7 del presente manuale.
Per smontare il dispositivo sarà sufficiente eseguire questo procedimento in senso opposto.
