OPERATION
The product features a moving saw blade that can be set at
various angles by the operator when cutting a work piece
be operated by only one person to prevent unintentional
contact with the moving saw blade.
The principles for safe operation of the product are as
follows:
Maintain saw, blades and work area in good condition.
Secure the mitre saw base to either a sturdy work
bench or its dedicated stand. The product may move
and tip if it is not adequately secured.
Set up and lock the cutting angles and depth before
making the cut.
Secure the work piece to the mitre saw base. Use the
clamp provided and, where necessary, use additional
clamps or holding mechanisms to prevent unintentional
movement of the work piece while cutting.
Check that the operation of the blade guards are
not restricted by the position of the work piece.
Ensure that the fence and other parts of the product
will not be cut as the blade lowers to the cutting
position.
Start the motor and allow the blade to reach full speed
before slowly lowering it to cut the work piece. Slide
the blade assembly backwards and/or forwards to
complete the cut as necessary.
Allow the blade assembly to rise to its upper position
where the blade guards are fully closed. Switch off the
motor and allow the blade to come to a complete stop
before removing the work piece or off-cuts, or before
reaching into the area of the blade.
