OPERATING THE DEVICE
Measurement of the body temperature
A. In order to start the measurement, point the
thermometer at the centre of the forehead. When
doing so, take care to ensure that the measuring
sensor (A) is not more than 5 cm away. If there
is hair, sweat or dust on the forehead, please
remove it or wipe it off the forehead before the
measurement in order to improve the accuracy of
the measurement.
B. Press the function key (C) for two seconds, the
measurement starts when the button is released.
C. When you hear a long beep, this means that the measurement is finished and you can
read the temperature value on the display.
D. Intelligent analysis of the body temperature.
37.5 °C (99.5 °F), the measurement result is shown on the screen with a long beep
and green backlighting. If the temperature measured is above 37.5 °C (99.5 °F), the
measurement result is shown on the screen with 10 short beeps and with red backlighting
in order to make it clear to the patient that they may have a fever.
Measurement of the object temperature
A. In order to start the measurement, point the thermometer
at the centre of the surface. When doing so, take care
to ensure that the measuring sensor (A) is not more
than 5 cm away. If there is dust or dirt on the object,
please remove it before the measurement in order to
improve the accuracy of the measurement.
B. Press the function key (C) for two seconds, the
measurement starts when the button is released.
