NIGHT FUNCTION
The innovative "NIGHT FUNCTION" allows children temperature to be
measured while sleeping, without waking them up.
With the thermometer on, press the "MODE" button to select the desired ope-
rating mode

Press the power button. The thermometer will carry out a self-test
and all the symbols will simultaneously appear. The device will then
emit two beeps and the display will show the symbols "00" and " ".
In order to switch to "object measurement" mode, press the
"MODE" button once. The screen will display the symbols
shown in the figure.
Hold down the "SCAN" button to perform the measurement.

While holding down the "SCAN" button, point the infrared
sensor to the object holding the thermometer at approxima-
tely 4~6cm away.
Release the "SCAN" button. After 1 second, the device will
emit a single beep and the temperature reading will appear
on the display.
After 30 seconds, the thermometer will emit an acoustic signal
and will automatically shut itself off.
