3. Apply approximately two tablespoons of wax (not included) evenly over the clean foam pad
CAUTION: Do not apply wax directly to the surface of the vehicle. The amount of wax required
will vary depending on the size of the vehicle waxed
4. Turn the speed dial to select the desired speed between 1 and 4
NOTE: Only use the slowest speeds (1 to 4) for polishing. Otherwise, damage may occur when
polishing the paint. SIEFKEN are not responsible for damage to the vehicle's nish due to impro-
per use of this polisher / sander.
5. Plug the power cord into an electrical extension cord (not included). Then plug the extension
cord into a 120 volt grounded outlet, protected by GFCI.
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, maintain ground wire connection.
Note: Always start and stop the polisher while holding it rmly against the surface of the vehicle.
Otherwise, the foam pad or polishing bonnet may be ejected.
6. To get started, place the unit in the area to be polished, rmly grasp the polisher / sander with
both hands and press the safety lock and then the trigger. Release the safety lock and continue
pressing the trigger.
7. Hold the polisher / sander with little pressure when in operation. The foam pad should lightly
touch the polishing surface.
NOTICE: To avoid damage to the foam pad, use the polishing coat as shown in the gure below.
8. Start using the polisher / sander to apply wax to the vehicle. Apply wax on all at surfaces with
sweeping, sweeping motions in a crisscross pattern. Apply the wax evenly to the surface of the
vehicle.
9. Add additional wax to the polishing pad as needed. To add additional wax.
a) Release the trigger and let the polisher / sander come to a complete stop
b) Add a small amount of wax evenly on the pad surface
c) Avoid excessive use of wax. For additional applications reduce the amount of wax. The foam
pad will not absorb as much wax in subsequent applications.
