To prevent electric shock, do not operate the appliance directly next to sinks or other
moisture sources. Make sure that the power cord and the appliance are always
completely dry.
Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.

Never leave the appliance unattended while the charger is inserted.
Do not suck up inflammable liquids (e.g. cleaning fluids, gasoline) or their vapours or
burning objects (e.g. cigarette ash).

Never point the vacuum cleaner at people or animals while it is being operated.
Use only the accessories supplied. Using other parts may lead to personal injury or

Do not let the power cord hang over corners (trip-wire effect).
CAUTION – material damage
Never place the utensil near a gas flame, electric hotplate or other source of heat.
External heat can damage the utensil.
Never use the utensil to vacuum sharp-edged objects (e.g. pieces of broken glass).
Empty the dust container in time (see chapter 7 "Cleaning and storage"). Using the
appliance with a full dust container will affect the service life and performance of the
motor.

Before initial operation
Make sure that all packaging material has been removed from the appliance
(protective film etc.).
Check that all parts are there (see chapter 3 "Description of appliance and scope of

Leave the specification plate and any warning notices on the appliance.
