Assembling the vacuum cleaner

The vacuum cleaner is disassembled into individual parts so that the packaging can be
smaller. In a few hand movements you will have it readily assembled:
1. Insert the holder (7a) in the foot (7b) until it locks in place.
2. Unscrew the screw (c) from the tube (2).
3. Slide the tube (2) with the handle (1) into the holder of the base body (3).
4. Insert the screw (c) in the hole (d) and screw it tight.
5. Push the lower tube (e) of the base body (3) into the floor brush (6). Make sure that
the contacts (f) lock in place properly. To remove the floor brush (6) again, press the
lever (g).
6. Insert the handheld vacuum cleaner (4) in the base body (3).

Charging the batteries

Your new vacuum cleaner is designed for low charging current. Before initial use the
batteries should be charged for around 15 hours. While they are charging the two signal
lamps (13) light up blue; when the batteries are fully charged, the signal lamps (13) will
go out and the charging process will end automatically. During the charging process the
power supply (16) will heat up a little.
NOTE: We recommend discharging the vacuum cleaner fully for the first three
times. You should therefore not put it in the charging station until the batteries
are fully empty and then you can charge them again fully.
When the batteries are fully empty, the charging time will be around 15 hours, then you
will have the full capacity available again.
NOTE: The vacuum cleaner switches off automatically when you put it in the
charging station (7), even if the on/off switch (8) is not switched off.
