Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the
appliance.
Wait until the light around the ON/OFF
button is continuously lighted.

Place a used coffee pod in the 1-cup pod
holder and put it in the machine.

Start the first descaling cycle by pressing
the 1- and the 2-cup button briefly at the
same time.
The water comes out in intervals and the
machine will pause 3 times.

Wait until the water reservoir is empty and
the first cycle is finished.
7.
Mix again 50 grams of citric acid with 1 liter
cold water in a separate jug.
Stir until the powder is dissolved.
Fill the water reservoir with the mixture.

Place the water reservoir back onto the
coffee machine and put a bowl with a
capacity of min. 1500ml under the spout.
The light around the ON/OFF button
will start to blink slowly.
The CALC light and the ON/OFF light
will start to flash slowly.
When the first cycle is finished the
light ring around the ON/OFF button
starts to flash rapidly.
The CALC light continues to blink
slowly to indicate the descaling
procedure is
still activated.
When you take off the water
reservoir from the machine the
ON/OFF light will blink fast.
The light around the ON/OFF button
will start to blink slowly.
