Preparation for cooking
with the Sous Vide Cooker
1. Only use bags and rolls that are specifically
designed to vacuum and seal food. The
food is cooked in a water bath at low
temperatures of approx. 35-90 °C.
The Sous Vide Cooker monitors the water
temperature during the cooking process.
2. The Sous Vide Cooker can only be operated
if it is in a pot of water and the water level is
above the "Min" value [11] on the heating rod
cover [9].
Fix the appliance to a pot using the fixing
clamp [13]. It should snap into place on
the opposite side of the pot and point
towards you.
We recommend the use of a pot that is at
least 15 cm high, otherwise the fixing clamp
will not properly fix the appliance to the pot.
3. Pour water into the pot The water level must
be between the values "Min" and "Max" on
the cover of the heating rod [9].
The water level will rise when you add the
food to the container.
So do not fill too high.
NOTE: Do not use distilled water.

WARNING
Risk of burns!
The heating rod becomes very
hot during operation and remains
hot after the mains plug has been
removed from the socket. Contact
with the heating element can result
in severe burns.
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
A hot pot of food, hot water and steam
can cause scalding.
Use oven cloths or gloves when
moving the pot.
Use heat-resistant tongs to remove
the food from the hot water.
NOTE
Take care to avoid damage!
Only use the Sous Vide Cooker if the
water level in the pot is between
the "MIN" and the "MAX" mark on the
heating rod cover.
Do not immerse the appliance in water
above the "MAX" mark during use.
Use the Sous Vide Cooker only in
water and never in other liquids (e.g.
soups).
