Cleaning and care
WARNING
Risk of burns!
The heating element remains hot
even after the mains plug has been
removed. Allow the heating element
to cool down completely before clea-
ning the appliance.
NOTE
Take care to avoid damage!
Improper cleaning and care can cause
damage to the appliance.
The appliance must not be placed in
the dishwasher for cleaning.
Never immerse the Sous Vide Cooker
completely in water or other liquids.
No water or other liquids must get
into the control element.
Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents or sharp or metallic cleaning
tools These can damage the surfaces.
Allow the appliance to cool completely before
cleaning.
Remove the appliance from the cooking pot and
wipe carefully with a soft, damp cloth.
Leave it on a soft cloth to allow the heater to
dry completely from the inside.
DESCALING
Depending on the hardness of the water and
the frequency of use, descaling should be
carried out monthly or more frequently in
regions with hard water.
1. Fill the pot with enough water to reach the
"MAX" mark.
2. Set the temperature to 80 °C.
3. Add some citric acid powder to the water
(approx. 1/4 cup to 5 l water).
4. After the temperature reaches 80 °C allow
the water to circulate for 20 minutes
5. Turn the appliance off and unplug it from the
wall outlet.
6. Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
7. Rinse the heating element under running
cold water and dry it well.
