Hardware Installation

Make sure the WAH7706 is turned off. Open the bottom cover from

the back of the WAH7706.

Remove the battery, if any. Slide open the metal slot. Put a SIM card
and a micro SD card (optional) horizontally matching the card holder
and the metal contact area facing downwards on the slot, and then
slide lock the SIM card (and SD card).

Insert the battery with the gold contact points on the battery facing
the gold contact points in the battery compartment. Replace the
bottom cover.

Connect the micro USB cable to a computer or notebook in order to
charge the battery.
Check the Windows taskbar or the Macintosh pop-up window to see
if the WAH7706 is installed properly.
After the battery is fully charged, remove the WAH7706 from the

computer or notebook.
To turn on the WAH7706, press the power button and hold until
"ZyXEL" displays in the OLED screen.
When you want to turn off the WAH7706, press the power button
and hold until "Shut Down" displays in the OLED screen.
Changing Default Wi-Fi Settings

SSID: ZyXEL_"last four digits of the
MAC address"
Key: XXXXXXXXXX
(The Wi-Fi key is on the device sticker. )
Wi-Fi 5G
