Troubleshooting Guide

The following checks will assist in the correction of most problems
which you may encounter with your unit.
Before going through the check list below, refer back to the
connection and operating procedures.

Radio reception

Trouble
Preset tuning is not possible.
Automatic tuning is not possible.
The "ST" indication flashes.

Tape playback

Trouble
Playback sound is distorted.

Trouble
No sound.
If the above mentioned remedies do not help to improve the
situation, consuIt your nearest Sony dealer.
