3.2 Intended use

The product described here is a line laser. It is for use in combination with
the Hilti DCH 150­SL slitting machine. The laser beam is projected directly
ahead of the slitting machine, indicating the line of cut.

3.3 Items supplied

Line laser, operating instructions, 9V block battery (not in all markets)

5 Operation
5.1 Changing battery
1. Remove the cover from the battery compartment.
2. Remove the battery from the battery compartment and disengage the
battery clip.
▶ First-time use: Remove the insulating film.
3. Connect the battery clip to the new battery and insert the battery.
4. Position the lid lugs first on the battery compartment and close the lid.
The lid snaps closed with an audible click.
5.2 Installing the laser
1. Set the laser on to the rail of the laser interface from above and slide the
laser down the rail until seated.
2. Secure the laser by turning the locking screw clockwise.
