6. CLEANING AND CARE

Warning! Disconnect the refrigerator before defrosting or cleaning.
6.1. CLEANING
Clean and dust behind the refrigerator regularly to improve the cooling effect and
energy savings.
Check and clean the door gaskets regularly to ensure there is no debris. Clean
the gaskets with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent.
Clean the interior of the refrigerator frequently to avoid odour build-up.
Before cleaning, disconnect the power and remove all items, including food,
drinks, shelves, and drawers, from the refrigerator.
Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean the inside of the refrigerator. Mix 2
tablespoons of baking soda with a quart of warm water as the cleaning agent.
After cleaning the refrigerator, wipe it down with clean, warm water to rinse and
wipe clean. Open the door of the refrigerator and allow it to air-dry naturally before
restoring the power.
For areas that are difficult to clean, such as narrow gaps and corners, wipe them
regularly with a soft rag, soft brush, and so forth, and when necessary, combine
these tools with an auxiliary tool, such as a thin stick, to ensure no contaminants
or bacteria accumulate in these areas.
Do not use soap, detergent, scrub powder, spray cleaner, and so on, as these
may cause odours in the interior or contaminate food.
Clean the door tray, shelves, and drawer, with a soft cloth dampened with soapy
water or diluted detergent. Dry with a soft cloth or air-dry.
Wipe the outer surface of the refrigerator with a soft cloth dampened with soapy
water and then wipe the surface dry.
