Installation instruction

of your equipment.

NOTE! Fuel nippel M14 1/4 NPSF and M14 3/8 NPSF
can be used instead of the fuel nipple (5) and (12). See
figure 2.
NOTE! Bracket A or bracket B is mounted on the engine.
A and B are the two different types of engine bracket. See
figure 1.
Installing the Fuel filter, alternative location
1. Choose a flat and stable surface, where it vibrates
least, for the mounting of the fuel filter bracket (17). The
dimentions for the mounting of the bracket are shown on
figure 3.
2. Mount the fuel filter bracket (17) with the three rubber
mounts (16) and flange screws (1).
3. Connect the hose (8) to the engine. See figure 1 pos. 8
on the bracket A/B. Connect the hose (8) to the fuel filter
bracket (17) using the banjo screw (13) and gaskets (6).
Tighten the screw.
Tightening torque 35 Nm (25.8 lbf.ft)
4. Connect the hose (9) to the engine. See figure 1 pos. 9
on the bracket A/B. Connect the hose (9) to the fuel filter
bracket (17) using the banjo screw (13) and gaskets (6).
Tighten the screw.
Tightening torque 35 Nm (25.8 lbf.ft)
5. Install the nipple (11) with gasket (10) on the fuel filter
bracket (17).

6. Connect the hose (14) to the engine. See figure 1 pos.
14 on the bracket A/B. Connect the hose (14) to the fuel
filter bracket (17) via the nipple (11).
Tighten the nipple (11).
Tightening torque 35 Nm (25.8 lbf.ft)
Tighten the hose connection (14).
Tightening torque 30 Nm (22.1 lbf.ft)
7. Install the fuel filter (2) and the fuel filter (3) on the fuel
filter bracket (17). Install the lower section of the fuel filter
(4) on the fuel filter (3). Tighten the filters.
Tightening torque 18 Nm (13.3 lbf.ft).
8. Install the fuel nipple (12) with banjo screw (13) and
gaskets (10). Tighten the screw.
Tightening torque 35 Nm (25.8 lbf.ft)
9. Install the fuel nipple (5) with the relief valve (7) and
gaskets (6). Tighten the releif valve.
Tightening torque 20 Nm (14.7 lbf.ft)
10.Install the nipple (18) with the gasket (19) on the fuel
filter bracket (17). Tighten the nipple.
Tightening torque 35 Nm (25.8 lbf.ft)
11. Connect the wiring harness (15) to the engine. Use
engine's wiring harness connectors in the center of the
engine's right side. Connect the wiring harness (15) to the
fuel filter sensor.
IMPORTANT!
Secure the wiring harness and hoses with cable ties after
performed connection. Make sure the cables and hoses
are not exposed to mechanical abrasion.
